Route

Marrakech → Imlil → Toubkal Refuge → Summit (4,167m) → Marrakech

Duration

3 Days

A three-day guided ascent to Jbel Toubkal — the highest peak in North Africa at 4,167 metres. Beginning in the Berber village of Imlil, the route climbs through dramatic High Atlas scenery to the Toubkal Refuge before the summit push. A physically rewarding mountain journey with a panorama that stretches from the Sahara to the Atlantic.

We believe the best journeys feel personal — with the flexibility to tailor everything from activities and accommodation to pacing and the route itself.

Highlights

Stand on the summit of Jbel Toubkal at 4,167m — the highest point in North Africa and the Arab world, with views spanning the Sahara and the Atlantic coast.

Begin in Imlil — a genuine High Atlas Berber village — and trek through the Mizane Valley past ancient stone villages and juniper forest.

Overnight at the Toubkal Refuge (3,207m) — a well-known mountain hut set in dramatic high-altitude scenery.

Guided by a certified, experienced mountain guide with mules carrying supplies — achievable for fit trekkers without prior mountaineering experience.
