Highlights

Cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka pass — Morocco's most dramatic mountain road, with sweeping views at every turn.

Walk the ancient UNESCO Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou — the clay fortress that has served as backdrop to Gladiator, Game of Thrones and beyond.

Ride a camel into the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes at golden hour — Morocco's most iconic Saharan moment.

Spend a night in a Berber desert camp: traditional dinner, live music around the fire, and a sky full of stars.

Wake before dawn and ride back to the dune crest to watch the Sahara sunrise — a moment that stays with you long after you leave.

Return to Marrakech via the Draa Valley — a long, lush corridor of palm groves, ancient kasbahs and desert villages.

The Experience

More than just the destinations

Every itinerary is carefully curated to balance Morocco's most unforgettable landscapes, culture, and experiences — whilst still allowing the flexibility to customise the journey around your own pace, interests, and travel style.

Day 1

Marrakech to Dades Valley via Ait Ben Haddou

Depart Marrakech and head south over the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass. The road winds through Berber villages and opens onto dramatic mountain panoramas before descending to the pre-Saharan plateau. You'll stop at the UNESCO Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou — one of Morocco's most celebrated sites — for a guided walk through its labyrinthine clay walls, towers and ancient granaries. After a traditional lunch in the village, continue east through the perfumed Rose Valley and into the Dadès Valley. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 2

Dades to the Erg Chebbi Desert

Head east towards Merzouga, stopping at the Todra Gorge — where sheer 300-metre canyon walls rise either side of a clear river. After lunch in Tinjdad, the Erg Chebbi dunes appear on the horizon. At the camp's edge, mount your camel and ride into the Sahara as the sun drops low. At camp, a traditional dinner, live Berber drums and an extraordinary night sky await.

Day 3

Sahara Sunrise and Return to Marrakech

Before sunrise, ride your camel back to the dune crest and watch the Sahara ignite in amber and rose. After breakfast, begin the return to Marrakech through Tazzarine, Nkob, Ouarzazate and the sweeping Draa Valley — arriving back at your accommodation by evening.
