Highlights

A full day in Marrakech — Morocco's most iconic city — just over two hours from Casablanca by private car.

The Saadian Tombs — a 16th-century royal necropolis hidden behind a sealed wall until 1917, filled with carved marble and tilework.

The Bahia Palace — a 19th-century residence of ornamental courtyards, painted cedar ceilings and fragrant gardens.

The Ben Youssef Madrasa — a 14th-century Koranic school and one of the finest examples of Islamic geometric architecture in Morocco.

The Djemaa el-Fna square in the afternoon — performers, musicians, food stalls and the full theatre of Marrakech at its liveliest.

A guided walk through the souks — each alley dedicated to a different craft: spices, leather, copper, carpets and jewellery.

Full Day

Casablanca to Marrakech and Back

Depart Casablanca early and arrive in Marrakech by mid-morning. Your guide leads you through the city's most celebrated highlights. Begin at the Koutoubia Mosque before heading into the medina to visit the Ben Youssef Madrasa — a 14th-century Koranic school of extraordinary geometric craftsmanship. Continue to the Saadian Tombs — a 16th-century royal necropolis discovered behind a sealed wall in 1917. The Bahia Palace follows — a 19th-century vizier's residence of endless courtyards, painted ceilings and gardens. After lunch near the Djemaa el-Fna, explore the labyrinthine souks — the spice market, the leather tanneries, the copper souk and the carpet traders. The square comes alive with performers and food stalls as the afternoon draws on. Return to Casablanca by private car in the early evening.
