Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Experience in Marrakech

Pick-up from your Marrakech accommodation is very early — typically before dawn to reach the launch site and take off at first light. The exact time depends on the season and sunrise time. We'll confirm your pick-up time when booking.

The flight lasts approximately one hour, drifting silently over Berber villages, palm groves, argan forest and the edge of the Agafay Desert as the sun rises above the High Atlas Mountains. Time on the ground before and after the flight adds to the experience.

Yes. After landing in the desert, you celebrate with a traditional Moroccan breakfast — fresh bread, honey, amlou paste, msemen and mint tea. Return transfer to Marrakech is also included.

All flights operate with experienced, certified pilots and use professional balloon equipment. Flights may be rescheduled due to unsuitable weather — your safety is the priority. If a flight is cancelled, we will arrange an alternative date wherever possible.

Generally yes, though participants must be able to stand comfortably in the basket for the duration of the flight. If you have specific health conditions or mobility concerns, please mention them when enquiring and we'll advise accordingly.
